sour, shiny, glinting, shuddering - out 26 September
Three outstanding Sound Artists and QME created the amazing sounds on this release.
Inspired by graphics and texts and the lo-fi sounds of especially made rotating speakers, QME explores rich soundscapes ranging from the barely audible sounds of the forest to a kind of unearthly, electrical soundscape of disembodied voices.
Rich and varied textures—sour, shiny, glinting and shuddering—run the gamut of sounds from ripping to caressing, from abstract to fleetingly pitched, from weirdly rhythmic to ambient.
QME’s signature acutely honed sense of sonority and a spellbinding, exploratory and contemplative engagement with sound make this a sonic journey unlike any other.
